Wow… what a powerful story. I sit here with tear filled eyes feeling all of the same emotions. It especially hit home when you spoke of the pit bull no one wanted to approach due to fear. As an owner of a pit bull, I am well aware of their unwavering love of people and big hearts. That was shown by the dogs display of wagging it’s tail even though he was obviously in horrible pain. You undoubtedly allowed that dog to die as happy as he could be in that situation… in someone’s arms. Thank you!
